Robot Ai-da - Android locatie
Ai-Da. Oxford. UK
Most recently, the human creative process has been challenged by a British artist Android called Ai-Da. Ai-Da was invented by gallerist Aidan Meller and is named after Ada Lovelace, a 19th Century mathematician. Ai-Da is the world's first ultra-realistic humanoid robot that makes drawings, paintings, and sculptures. The robot gained international attention when it was able to draw people from sight with a pencil using her bionic hand and cameras in her eyes. In 2024 Ai-Da's artwork 'AI God' was auctioned for $1.1 million at Sotheby's, marking an all-time record for art made by a robot artist.
