Together with a large and growing network, Delft Marketing focuses on positioning and economically strengthening Delft as a historic and innovative city, for residents, visitors, businesses and talent. Therefore, we work for and with our partners on marketing and other collective activities on an ongoing basis.

2026: The Robots are coming

For a year in 2026, Delft will be all about robotics. Under the title The robots are coming, the city is bringing robotics closer than ever. In public spaces, in the cultural sector, in education and within business.

From the opening of the art and technology festival Highlight Delft in February until the end of the year, installations, programmes and encounters will appear throughout the city showing how robots influence our lives, inspire, support and challenge us.

The robots are coming provides a stage for existing and new activities aimed at residents, visitors, businesses and talent, and consists of six programme lines:

  3. Talks & knowledge
  4. Film & media.
  5. Education & youth.
  6. Business & innovation.
