October walking month

Do you have a good idea to get everyone in Delft walking during October?

This year, too, during October Walking Month, we’ll be encouraging Delft’s residents and visitors to put on their walking shoes a bit more often and get out and about throughout the month. Throughout October, we’ll be promoting all our various (online) walks. However, we’re certainly open to new ideas and initiatives, so please do email us at marketing@delftmarketing.nl

Website

During October Walking Month, our website will feature a page promoting this campaign. On this page, consumers will find, among other things, an overview of all the walks we offer. We also mention the possibility of taking a guided walk through Delft. Furthermore, we encourage an extended stay in Delft by highlighting the hotels.

How can you get involved?
Would you like to take part in October Walking Month, but aren’t quite sure how? We’ve got a few ideas and opportunities you can make the most of:

• For walking guides: would you like extra promotion for your guided walks during October Walking Month? Then email us and we can see how we can work together on this.
• For the hotels: can't you wait to welcome the fanatic walkers to your hotel? Then email us and we can work together by, for example, offering a discount on a stay when you reach X number of kilometres walked or the like. Ideas are always welcome!
• For entrepreneurs: as an entrepreneur, you can also definitely get involved in October Walking Month. Organise a bite and step walk together with other catering establishments, offer a discount on good walking clothes or, of course, another fun action.

Social media

On social media, we will communicate the various walks to consumers through fun videos. Do you have an action in which you want to collaborate during October Walking Month? If so, we can of course promote it on our social media.
