Springtime Poetry Workshop

Whether you’re a regular writer or you’ve never tried to write a word, this is your chance to tap into the energy of Spring and create your own Tarot-inspired poetry!

In this English-language workshop, local writer and recently published poet Heather Hurd will walk you through the basics of poetry, share a seasonal prompt inspired by the Tarot, and give you time to start writing your own Spring poem.
Anyone who is interested can share their work with the group and get live feedback at the end of this two-hour session.

For this start-of-spring poetry session, we will take our inspiration from the Ace of Cups. This is a card that represents emotional rebirth, new beginnings, and the blossoming of love. Just as the world around us wakes up to new life, the Ace of Cups brings an opportunity for your heart to reawaken and your creativity to break through barriers in order to bloom.
