The DelFly project is a flagship bio-inspired micro air vehicle (MAV) initiative developed by the Micro Air Vehicle Laboratory (MAVLab) at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. It focuses on creating autonomous, extremely lightweight flying robots that mimic the flapping-wing mechanics, aerodynamics, and agile flight behaviors of insects like dragonflies and fruit flies
