Robot BINA48
BINA48. Terasem Movement Foundation, Vermont, USA
BINA48 is a robot modelled in appearance on Bina Aspen Rothblatt, the wife of Martine Rothblatt. BINA48 received a ‘mind file’ from Bina, compiled on the basis of over a hundred hours of conversations with her. Gradually, BINA48 adopted part of Bina’s identity and continues to develop her own personality whilst communicating with people all over the world. BINA48 is a unique experiment designed to investigate whether a human’s consciousness can be transferred to a robot.
