Delftse warenmarkt

Ever since the 12th century, there has been a large goods market on the Markt in Delft on Thursdays. Between 9 am and 5 pm you will discover stalls selling all kinds of delicacies, clothes, gadgets, art and much more. From cheese to nuts, vegetables to fish, you will find everything you can think of.

Need to relax after browsing the stalls? On the Markt there are plenty of terraces where you can enjoy a tasty lunch or a refreshing drink. Not in Delft on a Thursday? No problem! On Saturday, you will find (a slightly smaller) market on the Burgwal and de Brabantse Turfmarkt.

Tip: Climb the tower of the Nieuwe Kerk and discover an amazing view over the Markt, Delft and, weather permitting, even Rotterdam and The Hague!

Flower market

Fancy brightening up your home with lovely fresh flowers? Then drop by the flower market in Delft. Every Thursday you will find it on de Brabantse Turfmarkt, just a few hundred metres' walk from the Markt.

Whether you are looking for a bouquet for a special occasion or just want to enjoy the colourful picture formed by the various stalls together? This cosy flower market is really worth a visit.

Antiques market

In the months of April to September, the Hippolytusbuurt, Voldersgracht and Wijnhaven are filled with over a hundred stalls every Saturday. From 10:00 to 16:00, you can buy the most beautiful old Dutch antiques or curiosities. From crockery to jewellery, glassware, prints and books, you can find it all here! On a beautiful spring or summer day, this is the perfect outing for lovers.
