Pepper the robot

Pepper is a semi-humanoid robot, produced by Aldebaran Robotics (formerly Softbank Robotics Europe), which is designed to recognise emotions. The robot’s head is fitted with four microphones, two HD cameras (in the mouth and on the forehead) and a 3D depth sensor (behind the eyes). Pepper is intended to “help people enjoy life”, enrich their lives, foster relationships, have fun with people and connect them with the outside world.
