Robot Soseki

The Japanese writer Natsume Sōseki (1867–1916), winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, has been reincarnated in the form of an android who will give lectures at the university where Professor Sōseki taught in the 1880s. Soseki Android, a collaborative project between Nishogakusha University in Tokyo and researchers led by Hiroshi Ishiguro, speaks and reads his works aloud to the public and students, bringing the author’s spirit back to life more than a century after his death.
