In Delft, we ran the sustainability campaign D'Serve for the first time from 18 July to 20 September 2025. During this campaign, you received a reward by making a sustainable choice during your visit to Delft. For example, come by bike instead of car, use your reusable bottle to reduce plastic consumption or help keep the city clean.
In Delft wants to encourage and reward sustainable choices so that together we can make a positive impact on the city and the world. The action period has ended for this year, but next year you can join in again with new and more actions!
Besides the action period, there are plenty of opportunities for you to contribute to a more sustainable city with the smallest of actions. Get inspired to make conscious choices during your visit to Delft and stay informed about D'serve!
Voorjaarsschoonmaak 2026
Bezoek Delft, draag bij aan een groenere en betere stad en word beloond. Dat is D'serve. Met dit stadsbrede inititatief belonen wij bezoekers van Delft voor duurzaam bezoekersgedrag. Als ondernemers, bewoners, studenten en bovenal liefhebbers van Delft, geven wij natuurlijk het goede voorbeeld door bezoekers in een schone en opgeruimde stad te onvangen.
Dus zet jij je graag duurzaam in, wil je bijdragen aan een schoner Delft én in gesprek komen over D'serve? Doe dan mee met de voorjaarsschoonmaak 2026. Op dinsdagmorgen 21 april a.s. (tussen 9.30 en 11.30 u) steken we steken we de handen uit de mouwen en laten het goede voorbeeld zien door Delft klaar te maken voor een gastvrije ontvangst voor bezoekers in een schone en opgeruimde stad.

From 18 July to 20 September, there were various actions through which visitors could make a sustainable contribution and be rewarded for it. Next year, there will be even more actions for you as a visitor to participate in.

Cycling to the city is rewarded
Do you choose to come to Delft by bike? Then you will be rewarded with a free drink or a nice Vermeer card

Natural green
Help keep Delftse Hout clean and, as a reward, enjoy a delicious drink at De Papaver or Knus.

Canoe trip
Step aboard a D'serve canoe and enjoy Delft from the water as you fish floating litter out of the canals. Afterwards, you pay for your canoe trip with the waste collected!

Bring your reusable drinking bottle or get a Echt Dellufs Waterflesje with an exclusive discount during your visit to Delft and make use of bonus drinking water points!

Royal Delft rewards generously

Why was D'serve created?
We started this first edition of D'serve because sustainability is a big pillar for the city of Delft. We are working hard to make the city's living and visiting environment as sustainable as possible so that everyone can enjoy the city. We love Delft, whether you are a tourist or a resident, and with D'serve we can go that extra mile to put Delft on the map as a green destination in the Netherlands.
How can I participate in D'serve?
The first action period of D'serve took place from 18 July to 20 September 2025. Next year, D'serve will return with even more actions, so keep an eye on the website.
As a resident of Delft, can I also participate in D'serve actions?
Yes! You certainly can! The whole idea is that we all make and keep Delft as beautiful as possible. The better we all take care of the city, the more beautiful the D'serve initiative will become.
