By coach to Delft

Are you planning to come to Delft by coach? This beautiful city is easily accessible via various motorway and train connections. Both Rotterdam The Hague Airport, just 20 minutes away, and Schiphol Airport, 40 minutes away, make travelling easy.

From The Hague and Rotterdam, take the A13 to Delft. Take exit 9 (Delft) and follow the signs to the 'Centrum'.

Are you travelling from Amsterdam? Then follow the A4 towards The Hague. At the Rijswijk exit, you will join the A13 towards Rotterdam. Also take exit 9 (Delft) here and follow directions to 'Centrum'.

Once you arrive in Delft, there are several parking options for the touring car. Although the historic centre is not accessible to coaches, there are several 'Hop on Hop off' locations around the centre where you can easily stop.

Hop on Hop off passengers

Getting passengers in and out can be done at the 'Hop on Hop off' location at the Koepoortplaats behind the Hampshire Hotel Delft Centre (maximum 30-minute parking). From here it is a 250-metre walk to the city centre and a 600-metre walk to the Markt.

Afterwards, coach drivers should drive on to the Olof Palmestraat where they can park for a long time (from 7.00 to 19.00 hrs). From 7pm, coaches can park for free along Schieweg. Both locations are easy to find by following the signs.

On the Phoenixstraat near the St. Agathaplein (maximum 30-minute parking) there are also 3 bus stops.From the Phoenixstraat you can walk straight into the city centre. Note! The Museum Prinsenhof Delft, located on St. Agathaplein will be under renovation from 6 Janauri 2025 to 2027.

For organised student trips from Delft as well as for the Kwibus, we recommend using the Christiaan Huijgensweg or near Delft Campus station. These places also offer parking facilities for bicycles.

Parking coaches

In and around the city centre there are parking spaces for touring coaches:

Koepoortplaats (near the centre). 7 spaces, maximum parking time 30 minutes
Phoenixstraat (near the St. Agathaplein). 3 places, maximum parking time 30 minutes
Olaf Palmestraat, from 1 April to 1 September 12 places and from 1 September to 1 April 5 places.
Paardenmarkt (city centre), 2 places, paid parking
Curaçaostraat (parking lane south side, only on Saturdays and Sundays)
Schieweg (between Engelsestraat and Rijnweg)

Transportation from Hop on Hop off places

At Koepoortplaats, people who want or need it can take the Delft City Shuttle (max. 6 people per shuttle) to the city centre for a fee (€5 per person, per day). We recommend arranging this in advance with Delft City Shuttle by calling +31(0) 610999420.
