'What is the state of toilet accessibility here?' A nice scrabble word, but not a question you ask yourself when doing a day out in Delft. Until you have to. That cafe over there? No. That restaurant here? Unfortunately. Wild peeing then? Bad idea. The need gets higher. Fortunately, you don't have to fear this scenario in Delft. The City of Princes wants to be in the top 100 most toilet-friendly municipalities. Jon Cornelese, co-owner of Café de Oude Jan, Delfts Brouwhuis and chairman of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN) in Delft, talks about that ambition, the Hoge Nood app and hospitality down to the smallest room.

Because toilet accessibility is an important part of that hospitality, Jon: "After a day in Delft, you should have the feeling that you were really welcomed in every way. Hospitable, then, but toilet accessibility also contributes to a beautiful and clean city, simply because you don't have to look for a dirty alley or tree here.
