Buy & Enjoy Local
Connect as a local entrepreneur
Join the Buy & Enjoy in Delft campaign as a local entrepreneur
With the festive season approaching and the winter months just around the corner, we want to encourage residents to shop locally and enjoy what Delft has to offer. That’s why we’re calling on you to take part in the ‘Shop & Enjoy in Delft’ campaign!
As entrepreneurs, you know better than anyone how important it is to have a lively, thriving shopping area. Delft's charm lies in the unique shops, cosy cafés, and artisan boutiques that make our city so special. Yet we are increasingly seeing people making their purchases at large webshops or shops outside Delft. This is not only a missed opportunity for you, but also for the city as a whole.
Why take part in ‘Koop & Geniet in Delft’?
Shopping locally strengthens the community: every euro spent locally flows back into the city. It helps to preserve jobs, supports local suppliers and contributes to the growth of our economy.
Together we create experience: By participating in this campaign, together we create an attractive shopping experience. Whether it is exclusive discounts, special promotions or a unique shopping experience, together we make Delft the place where people want to shop.
Delft in the spotlight: We want to profile our city as the shopping centre of the region. By joining forces in the Koop & Geniet in Delft campaign, we are showing what makes Delft so special. From handmade products to personal service - you won't find that at an anonymous webshop!
Support for you as entrepreneurs: As part of the campaign, we provide visibility in the city and online. Think of promotional material, social media campaigns and local events to put your shop in the spotlight.
What will we all be doing in the coming months:
- Activation package for all shops in Delft (including the outer city centre), more information to follow later
- Videos and interviews with local Delft entrepreneurs
We are still looking for local entrepreneurs who would like to take part in the interviews. - Craft Route – a route taking in local craft shops
Would you like to be part of this route? Please let us know.
‘Koop & Geniet’ stamp (18 November – 31 December)
A ‘Koop & Geniet’ stamp card will be introduced, allowing shoppers to collect stamps at a number of shops towards a small Christmas gift. The idea is that shoppers receive a stamp from every local business where they make a purchase (for amounts over 10 euros). This is based on each visit rather than every 10 euros, so that we can spread the scheme evenly across the city. If you’d like to take part in these promotions, please sign up. It won’t cost you anything extra as a business owner.
If you have ideas suggestions, fun actions or questions about the Buy & Enjoy Locally campaign please send us an email.
