Commentator Nick

My name is Nick van Willigen, at the time of writing 37 years young ;) I was born and raised in the Westerkwartier! Here the strings still hung out of the neighbours' door and it was always cosy. I spent most of my childhood playing football at DHC. My family, grandfather, grandmother, father and uncle were and are also members of merit here and together have been members for more than 150+ years. At DHC, I met friends who I still hang out with on a weekly basis today! Today, I am co-owner of restaurant San Marco at de Brabantse Turfmarkt 23 in Delft. This is therefore my work and hobby in one. I enjoy my "work" every day and the, fortunately, many regular guests who come to visit us. Over three years ago, I started this adventure with my partner Giancarlo Idili. My bond with Delft is very close. Everywhere I go I talk about "my Delft" for praise and love. This is why I always say that I cannot go on holiday for more than 10 days. After that, if I cannot see the towers of the city's church(s), I get nervous.
