UITblinkers Chelsey
My name is Chelsey, I am 25 years old and a real Delvener! I have been working at the company TOPdesk for almost a year now, based in Delft and once founded by two Delft students. I love sports and I prefer to do that at my gym VOLT45 in Delft or by running through Delftse Hout. I have lived in the beautiful city centre of Delft for about 3 years now and so do all my friends. So what my connection with Delft is? Actually, I have everything here! As my friends and I often say to each other: 'this is and remains our most beautiful city, isn't it!'.
Discover the Doelenplein
My UIT highlighted location in Delft is the Doelenplein! This is my favourite location for several reasons. For example, you can find Hanno - Groots café here. On Hanno's terrace you can enjoy the sun for a very long time in summer and in winter it is always attractively lit. Furthermore, there is always a cosy atmosphere on the Doelenplein and fun things are often organised, such as during the Jazz festival or on Liberation Day! Everyone should visit the Doelenplein during a day out in Delft, because, as mentioned earlier, there is always something going on! You can have a quiet bite to eat and end your evening nicely with a drink. It's close to the fun shops, but also just far enough out of the city's biggest crowds.

Bombina Delft
Go for lunch at Bombina. Breakfast, brunch or lunch is perfect here. Both indoor and outdoor seating is really great and their iced coffee comes highly recommended!

A gem I recently discovered is LACHA STUDIO - store! Cool clothes and accessories that are just a little bit different from the rest. A tip if you need some last-minute goodies.

San Marco
My number one tip in Delft is San Marco! The food never disappoints and their pizzas... These are freshly prepared in a stone oven from Italy. I'm already getting an appetite for them now that I'm writing this. It is very easy to reach from the Zuidpoort Car Park and from there you can walk nicely into the city centre.
