Bankje op Hippolythusbuurt - Exoskelet route

We look for a bench

It's time to take a break. After all, walking in an exoskeleton is very intensive. The exoskeleton weighs more than 40kg. The weight of the entire exoskeleton has to be carried by the pilot, in addition to his own body weight. As a result, it is currently not yet possible to travel long distances. When the pilot wants to sit down, he has to perform several actions to do so. He must stand at exactly the right distance from the bench. He then tells the exoskeleton that he wants to sit down. The exoskeleton then uses a depth camera on the back of the suit to calculate how high the bench is and whether he can sit on it. When this is all in order, the pilot can take a seat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
