3. Stadskantoor Gemeente Delft - De Nieuwe Delftse Waterloop

Water management: The municipality provides the city's sewer system to collect rainwater and wastewater and takes measures to reduce nuisance from groundwater.

The city office of the Municipality of Delft is part of the new railway station. One of the municipality's tasks is to collect rainwater. This water used to be disposed of via the sewer as quickly as possible, but nowadays it is increasingly retained locally. As a result, less wastewater needs to go to the water treatment plant in the Harnaschpolder, which is managed by the Hoogheemraadschap van Delftland. In addition, the municipality is investing in measures to reduce structural problems with groundwater.
