The plaque on the facade is in memory of the famous resident Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, Founder of microbiology (1632-1723.'The Golden Head' was the residence he bought in 1655 just after his marriage to Barbara de Meij.
The exoskeleton has eight active joints, namely two ankle joints, two knee joints and four hip joints. Humans normally have 12 active joints. An exoskeleton therefore has limitations in its range of motion. This is particularly noticeable when making a turn. The hip cannot make the usual turning movement. As a result, the pilot walks with a large turning circle, or he turns on his own axis with the help of his crutches.
When you took the turn from the oude kerk to the Hippolythus neighbourhood, you probably didn't think about it, but this turn quickly takes our pilot 10x longer than normal.
