Oude Kerk - Exoskelet route
We continue our route along the oude kerk.
The Oude Kerk, also known as the Oude Jan or Scheve Jan, dates from 1246 and is the oldest church in Delft. A characteristic feature of the Oude Kerk is its leaning tower. The Oude Oude Kerk is still in use as a church.
Here we encounter our first obstacle. You probably don't think about it, but the little bridge you cross is quite a challenge for an exoskeleton. The pilot has to signal himself that he is going up a hill. He communicates this to the exoskeleton via a device attached to one of his crutches (PHOTO.). Using depth cameras, the exoskeleton then calculates where the pilot can place his feet.
