Central Station
As soon as you arrive in Rotterdam, you spot one of its most recent eye-catchers: the Central Station. An architectural masterpiece with a striking roof. The tip of the roof points towards the city centre. As you will see, a number of historical elements of the old station building have been preserved.
Erasmus Bridge
Anyone googling Rotterdam will immediately see beautiful images of this bridge. In Rotterdam vernacular, the Erasmus Bridge is also affectionately called 'The Swan'. When you see it, you immediately understand why! The bridge was opened in 1996 and has been a tourist trekpleister ever since. Tip: don't forget to enjoy the skyline while standing on the bridge!
Historic Delfshaven
This part of Rotterdam has a fun connection to Delft! In fact, medieval Delfshaven used to belong to Delft and acted as a port between the city and the North Sea. Nowadays, Delfshaven is the oldest part of Rotterdam where you can go out or have a delicious meal.
Euromast
From Delft's Nieuwe Kerk, you can see Rotterdam's Euromast on clear days. At 185 metres, this tower is the largest viewing tower in the Netherlands (the Nieuwe Kerk is 108.75 metres). The lift in the Euromast takes you to 100 metres in just 30 seconds! On the viewing platform you have great views over the Rotterdam skyline.

In just a few years, the covered Market Hall has become one of Rotterdam's biggest attractions. The architecture and beautiful panels on the ceiling are a feast for the eyes.
