Hi I'm Gaby, owner of MÔMÉ lifestyle in the heart of Delft. A place where my love for interiors, beautiful products and passion for travelling come together. After years of working as an international buyer and creative manager for a home furnishing brand, I decided to follow my dream and create a place that fully reflects my style. My world travels have filled my heart with inspiration and you can see it everywhere in my shop. I cherish my dedication to the craft and to the art of creating the most beautiful collections. For me, MÔMÉ is not just a shop, but an extension of my personality. A place where warmth and experience are central, and where I hope to inspire others with everything that touches me.
Tell us a bit more about your shop/business and what you have to offer visitors. Why should people definitely not miss out on your shop/business during a visit to Delft?
MÔMÉ is a concept store in the heart of Delft. Here you’ll find a carefully curated selection of interior design pieces, home accessories, lifestyle products and unique gifts. I design and import a large part of the collection myself, directly from Marrakesh. Everything you see has been lovingly selected – often from distinctive brands and artisans from different parts of the world.
What should we definitely know about you and your shop/business?
What many people don’t realise is that travelling is truly in my blood. It’s more than a passion – it’s a way of life that fuels my creativity and gives my shop its unique character. For example, I regularly travel to Marrakesh, a city that deeply inspires me with its colours, scents, craftsmanship and atmosphere. There, I select the most beautiful treasures from Morocco with care and love: handmade items, special fabrics and unique accessories that instantly transport you to another world.
What makes running a business in Delft special for you? Why did you choose to set up your business in Hartje Delft?
Delft has now taken a very special place in my heart. The combination of historic charm and youthful energy makes it a city with real character. As an entrepreneur, I feel very much at home here. The city centre is bustling, yet at the same time has a village-like, personal feel – people know one another, appreciate local shops and are genuinely interested. For MÔMÉ, Delft is the perfect location. The city attracts not only residents with taste and a sense of style, but also tourists looking for something unique. It’s precisely that mix that makes running a business here so inspiring. Every day is different, and I feel blessed to have been able to realise my dream in such a beautiful place.
