Lii Spijkers

About the design

Lii Spijkers is 23 years old and currently a fashion student at the Albeda MBO. Lii got involved in this project through the previous internship company - Stichting Stunt - which was a partner in setting up this project. Marieke Rolloos told him that this project would be launched and asked if he would like to help. A super cool idea as sustainability and the reuse of old materials is something he himself is very much into and also finds super important. The inspiration comes a lot from his own clothing style, combined with characteristics from the time of Vermeer that also recur in his works. This is how he ended up creating a modern look with a real Vermeer twist!
