VVV Volunteer

Delft. City of the distinctive Delft Blue. Of the famous master painter Johannes Vermeer. And of William of Orange, the Father of the Nation. An iconic Dutch city centre with canals and squares. With museums, churches, monuments and welcoming hospitality venues. Close to the coast and with green countryside just around the corner.
But also a city that looks to the future and leads the way. With students, scientists and entrepreneurs who, through knowledge and innovation, are making the world a better place.

On behalf of the VVV Delft (part of Delft Marketing), we are looking for hospitable and enthusiastic volunteers to work for at least half a day per week.

What will you be doing?

As a VVV volunteer, you’ll be the face of Delft, giving Dutch and international visitors a warm welcome and helping them on their way to discover Delft and the region. You’ll enthusiastically tell visitors about what there is to see and do, how to get from A to B, and sell typical Delft products such as walking routes, souvenirs and items made by local artisans.
You must be available for at least half a day a week and, in addition to Dutch, you must speak another foreign language.

• Fun volunteer work in the heart of Delft with grateful and happy visitors;
• A friendly group of volunteers (even if we say so ourselves);
• Even more enjoyable outings and inspiring networking events at the most beautiful Delft locations imaginable.

Time commitment

• We ask for a minimum availability of one half-day per week, but more days are certainly welcome.
• Availability at weekends is a plus but not a requirement.
