The Delft Festival Summer is back!

The Delft Festival Summer has begun! From June to September, Delft transforms into a vibrant summer stage with a diverse range of cultural festivals and other summer activities.

Collaboration as the key to success
The Delft Festival Summer is now in its second year. Its success is partly due to collaboration with Delft-based partners such as the Delft Fringe Festival, the Delft Chamber Music Festival and dozens of cultural organisers, event organisers, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions. The Delft Festival Summer is coordinated by Delft Marketing and receives financial support from the Delft Entrepreneurs’ Fund, the Delft Visitor Economy Platform and the Municipality of Delft.

The aim of this collaboration, besides bundling public events in the city, is to contribute to spreading visits in time and space. We also aim to increase cultural participation among citizens of Delft.

Event organisers can register for free to take part in Delft Festival Summer. However, participation is not without obligation; cooperation and mutual promotion are at the heart of this success. Participating organisers receive a free Festival Summer toolkit to bring their event to the attention of a wide audience, while at the same time promoting Delft Festival Summer and their fellow organisers.

Promotion launches on 31 May
The Delft Festival Summer officially began on 31 May, marking the start of the promotional campaign. Organisers of public events can still register with Delft Marketing via marketing@delftmarketing.nl or directly via ‘Register an event | Delft Events Calendar’. Businesses wishing to support the Delft Festival Summer can make use of the free toolkit.

Launch of UITmagazine
Alongside the opening of the Festival Summer, Delft Marketing also launched the new UITmagazine Delft on 31 May. In it, you’ll find all the information about Delft’s Festival Summer, as well as practical information, tips and inspiration for a day out in Delft, and much more. UITmagazine Delft is distributed throughout Delft and the surrounding region at locations frequented by residents and visitors, such as hotels, holiday parks, museums and tourist information centres.
