Actors wanted for new Delft campaign
Are you a young, enthusiastic actor or actress with a talent for mimicry and portraying cool characters? For a new campaign by Delft Marketing, we are looking for young actors and actresses to show the benefits of local shopping and experiencing Delft. The campaign revolves around the difference between a day full of online frustrations and a 'Delft day' where you really enjoy the city. Filming for this campaign will take place in December.
Who are we looking for?
- Age: 18 to 25 years old
- Experience: Basic acting experience. Good character empathy and convincing facial expressions are a plus.
- Roles: Three characters
- 1 to 2 women
- 1 to 2 men
- Genre: Comedy, in which great acting and expression are central.
Summary of the video concept
In this cheerful and recognisable video, we meet three characters, each with their own 'doomsday' experiences around convenience and online ordering. They struggle with the drawbacks of online shopping and look for a solution. The solution? A 'Delft day' full of atmosphere, conviviality and local shops. Together, the three friends venture into the city of Delft, try on clothes in boutiques and enjoy a delicious meal on a terrace. The video ends with the question: "Doomdag or Delftdag?" followed by the invitation: "Come to Delft, taste the difference. Shop local and experience the city at its best!"
The characters
- The disappointed trend-follower
Orders the perfect outfit for a party online, but is sent the wrong size and is deeply disappointed. - The Return King (or Queen)
Stuck in an endless cycle of returns due to purchases that don’t fit properly or fail to live up to expectations. - The solitary diner
Often eats in isolation, alone in front of the TV with takeaways, and misses the atmosphere of a proper meal out.
What do we offer? Compensation is available for participation.
