More info
Water is the indispensable source of our lives, but at the same time there is also the fear of its destructive power. It determines our possibilities and our limits. This year, Land Art Delft wants to bring water to the fore. Aqua Vitae: The Power and Beauty of Water explores the profound relationship between humanity and water. Due to the overwhelming presence of water on our planet, we explore its duality: a source of life and a potential threat. Works of art bring the diversity and power of water to life. From tranquil paintings to tiny aquatic life, each art expression highlights a unique facet of water.
Artist: Jaap van den Berg, Aafke Buitelaar, Wim van Egmond, Rob van Es and Jan Radersma.
