Open Monumentendag Delft 2024
until 15 September
More info
On Saturday, September 14, and Sunday, September 15, 2024, visitors can enjoy free access to several beautiful monuments in Delft during the 38th Open Monument Day. Over forty monuments will open their doors, offering the public a glimpse behind the scenes.
Participants include Huis van Meerten, Pakschuit Nooitgedacht, the Old and New Church, Gemeenlandshuis van Delfland, Mensert Tool Museum, the Old Catholic Church, and the Kruithuis. This year, for the second time in a row, the Oostpoort will also be open for interior visits!
The theme this year is "On the Road! Routes, Networks, and Connections."
Various monuments will host performances by musicians, actors, and storytellers.
Children can enjoy fun activities at many of the monuments or pick up the Children's Viewing Card from Mrs. Monument Day at the Market and search for answers to questions around the city.
The City Hall on the Market will serve as an information point on both days, where visitors can collect program booklets and join free guided tours.
Open monuments will be marked by a blue flag featuring the Open Monument Day logo throughout the weekend.
