An atmospheric biopic about two ambitious and unconventional artists in early 20th-century Vienna. Alma Mahler was not only the prominent wife and muse of composer Gustav Mahler but also a gifted composer in her own right. After her husband's death, she embarks on a turbulent affair, marked by power struggles, with the expressionist painter and enfant terrible Oskar Kokoschka.
