In Delft
My name is Tim van Wingerde, I am 24 years old and I am currently studying in Rotterdam. As a native of Delft, I still enjoy coming to Delft. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the canals, a tasty lunch at one of the cosy joints, or soaking up the atmosphere during events in the city centre, Delft remains a place I love to visit. The combination of historical charm and liveliness makes the city unique for me. I always enjoy coming here and discover something new every time.
Discover the Delft Brewery
My UITblichte location in Delft is the Delfts Brouwhuis. For me, the Delfts Brouwhuis is the place in Delft where you can enjoy special beers brewed locally with craftsmanship. What makes it special for me is how the Brouwhuis manages to combine tradition and innovation. It reflects what Delft is to me: enterprising, innovative and a place where you get together with friends and family. The atmosphere is always relaxed and cosy. Inside, you can eat or play a game in the historic cellar, one of the city's oldest spaces. Residents and visitors of Delft should not miss the Delft Brouwhuis and the Brouwplein, because for me it is the place for local atmosphere and conviviality. The Brouwhuis itself regularly organises fun events, such as big-screen football matches, DJ nights with real vinyl records and cosy pub quizzes. The Brouwhuis is located on the Brouwplein, where larger events take place throughout the year. During King's Day there is a stage with live performances, and during the Jazz Festival the square is also a vibrant place full of music and atmosphere. Together, the Brouwhuis and the Brouwplein form a special place in the heart of Delft.
