Heinen Delfts Blauw
On the bustling market square stands a striking building from 1886 by architect C.B. Posthumus Meyes. Here at Markt 45 sits a beautiful Heinen Delfts Blauw shop. Ever since the construction of this storefront in the Neo-Holland Renaissance style, it has been a place that sells authentic Delftware pottery. This is reflected in the unusual facade on which a Delft blue tile picture is attached that runs the entire width of the building. The figures on the painting depict the production process of Delftware pottery.
