Markt
De Markt is the biggest square in Delft with the old Town Hall and the New Church as real eye catchers.
De Markt is located in the centre of the city centre. The square functioned as the 'living room' of the city. Since the 12th century, different markets and events have been organised. Due to the many activities on the square by users and visitors, the space has been kept as open as possible. Special is the presence of the Town Hall and the Nieuwe Kerk, exactly the opposite of each other at the square.
