Together we make the city shine!

On Tuesday 8 December 2026, during the atmospheric ‘Lichtjesavond’ (Evening of Lights), the Christmas tree will be lit on the Markt . This festive moment marks the start of ‘Delft Verlicht’, which runs until Sunday 3 January 2027.

During this period, Delft will be all about light, connection and experience. The city sets the scene for numerous activities, actions and events that bring residents and visitors together.

In 2026, we will be celebrating the 29th Lichtjesavond and the fourth edition of Delft Verlicht. It is an excellent opportunity for businesses and organisations to make a visible contribution to the festive atmosphere in the city.

On this page you will find an overview of all initiatives and collaborations for which registration is possible. Think of joint campaigns, special winter packages, atmospheric shop window actions or programming at your location.
